A medical waste disposal apparatus for heating waste includes a hydrodynamic exhaust scrubber in which water is sprinkled in an atomized or spouted state into a circulation passage as the gaseous pyrolytic product and the steam flow through the passage, so that the product and the steam are dissolved in the water. The product and the steam are thus collected and removed.

L'invention porte sur un appareil d'élimination des déchets médicaux. Cet appreil, qui sert à chauffer les déchets, comporte un épurateur hydrodynamique pourvu d'un passage de circulation dans lequel on asperge de l'eau sous forme atomisée ou giclée lorsque le produit pyrolitique gazeux et la vapeur y passent afin de dissoudre le produit et la vapeur dans l'eau. Le produit et la vapeur sont alors recueillis et éliminés.
