A disposable applicator (10) for dispensing a desired quantity of a substantially non-runny medicant, including a housing (14), a plunger (16), and a replaceable cap (12). The housing (14) is generally tubular having opposing proximal and distal ends and a tapered inner surface (52) extending therebetween. The distal end terminates in a dispensing nozzle (69) that defines a dispensing passageway (84) in substantial coaxial alignment with the housing (14), while the inner surface has an alignment device (80). The plunger (16) has a peripheral edge (96) and is configured for axial movement within the housing (14), where the peripheral edge (96) is aligned by the alignment device (80) and slidingly guided by the inner surface (52), supporting the plunger (16) therein. The plunger (16) is configured for slidable advancement toward the dispensing opening (90) by exertion of force by a user, so as to urge the medicament through the passageway (84).
L'invention concerne un applicateur jetable (10) servant à distribuer une quantité voulue d'une substance médicamenteuse sensiblement non coulante, qui comporte un logement (14), un piston (16), et un bouchon remplaçable (12). Le logement (14), généralement tubulaire, présente deux extrémités opposées, proximale et distale, et une surface intérieure conique (52) s'étendant entre celles-ci. L'extrémité distale se termine en buse de distribution (69), laquelle définit un passage de distribution (84) aligné de façon sensiblement coaxiale sur le logement (14), la surface intérieure comportant un dispositif d'alignement (80). Le piston (16) présente un bord périphérique (96) et est conçu pour se déplacer axialement à l'intérieur du logement (14), le bord périphérique (96) étant aligné par le dispositif d'alignement (80) et guidé coulissant par la surface intérieure (52), qui maintient le piston (16) dans le logement.
