The invention relates to a medicament delivery device, especially a multidose powder inhaler, to a medicament carrier therefor, and to a method for withdrawing a medicament from the medicament carrier. The inhaler has a mouthpiece (9) and an air duct (4) connected thereto, and a medicament carrier with at least one medicament compartment holding a powdery medicament. A drive flow is produced in the air duct, said drive flow and a constriction defined in the air duct producing a low pressure flow (5'). The narrowest part of the air duct which causes the low pressure flow is connected to a withdrawal opening (2) which communicates with a control opening (3) for creating an evacuation flow through the control opening via the withdrawal opening. In a preferred embodiment, the at least one medicament compartment, together with the control opening, the withdrawal opening and a feed opening, isintegrated into the one-piece medicament carrier.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'émission de médicaments, en particulier un inhalateur à poudre à doses multiples, un magasin à médicaments à cet effet, et un procédé pour prélever un médicament du magasin à médicaments. L'inhalateur présente un embout buccal (9) et un canal à air (4) relié à l'embout, ainsi qu'un magasin à médicaments comprenant au moins une chambre à médicament qui contient un médicament poudreux. Dans le canal à air est produit un courant d'entraînement qui, en coopération avec un rétrécissement réalisé dans le canal à air, permet de produire un courant basse pression (5'). Cette zone rétrécie du canal à air, qui est à l'origine du courant basse pression, est raccordée à une ouverture de prélèvement (2) qui est reliée à une ouverture de commande (3) pour former un courant de vidage à travers l'ouverture de commande via l'ouverture de prélèvement. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré de l'invention, la ou les chambres à médicament comprenant l'ouverture de commande, l'ouverture de prélèvement et une ouverture de remplissage, est ou sont formée(s) dans le magasin à médicaments qui est monobloc.
