A medication delivery device comprises display means (15) having at least one segment, the segment comprising a first display element (1A1, 1B1, 1C1, 1D1, 1E1, 1F1, 1G1) and a second display element (1A2, 1B2, 1C2, 1D2, 1E2, 1F2, 1G2). The display means (15) comprises a first display layer (212) and a second display layer (222). The first display layer (212) is arranged over the second display layer (222), wherein one of the first display element (1A1, 1B1, 1C1, 1D1, 1E1, 1F1, 1G1) and the second display element (1A2, 1B2, 1C2, 1D2, 1E2, 1F2, 1G2) is located in the first display layer (212) and the other one of first display element (1A1, 1B1, 1C1, 1D1, 1E1, 1F1, 1G1) and the second display element (1A2, 1B2, 1C2, 1 D2, 1E2, 1F2, 1 G2) is located in the second display layer (222). The medication delivery device further comprises segment control means configured to selectively activate the at least one segment, the display elements (1A1, 1B1, 1C1, 1D1, 1E1, 1F1, 1G1, 1A2, 1B2, 1C2, 1D2, 1E2, 1F2, 1G2) of the segment being activated and visually representing status information or operation information, the first and second display elements (1A1, 1B1, 1C1, 1D1, 1E1, 1F1, 1G1, 1A2, 1B2, 1C2, 1D2, 1E2, 1F2, 1G2) being arranged such that the same information is indicated by both display elements at the same time.
