A medication dispenser is provided for the storage and dispensing of one or more dosage forms at prescribed time or intervals. The invention is provided with a tray, cover means, and base means. The tray and cover means interlock, such that the cover means can be adjusted rotationally with respect to the tray. The tray may be placed in engagement with the base means in one or more orientations, and may be removed and replaced in the base means through the application of manual force. A calendar means is preferably provided such that it is engaged on the base means, and disposed adjacent to the tray, such that the intervals marked on the calendar means correspond with tablets contained in the tray-cover assembly. A second set of markings may also be provided to indicate the time at which a second medication should be dispensed. In addition, methods of assembling the dispenser of the present invention, dispensing medication from the present invention, and filling or refilling the present invention are disclosed.
