The present invention relates to the use of medium-chain length fatty acids of formula I, triglycerides of formula 2 (wherein n = 6 - 10), salts thereof, or mixtures thereof, in combination with gemcitabine and optionally erlotinib in the treatment of pancreatic cancer in human patients. Exemplary medium- chain length fatty acid/ triglyceride compounds include capric acid, sodium caprate, tricaprin, lauric acid, sodium laurate, and trilaurin.

La présente invention a pour objet l'utilisation d'acides gras à longueur de chaîne moyenne de formule I, de triglycérides de formule 2 (dans laquelle n= 6 - 10), de leurs sels ou de leurs mélanges, combinés avec de la gemcitabine et éventuellement de l'erlotinib, destinés au traitement du cancer du pancréas chez des patients humains. Des exemples d'acide gras/composés triglycérides à longueur de chaîne moyenne comprennent l'acide caprique, le caprate de sodium, la tricaprine, l'acide laurique, le laurate de sodium et la trilaurine.
