C.680 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a powdered laundry detergent composition, and method for making the same, comprising a narrowly defined range of tetrasodium or tetrapotassium pyro- phosphate and an alkali metal tripolyphosphate, in conjunction with a linear alkylaryl sulfonate and sodium silicate and optionally an alkali metal salt of a fatty acid, that can be spray dried to give a loose bulk density range of 0.40 to 0.50 grams/cc.
