A medium for stem cells to be used in regenerating intervertebral disk which contains an autoserum prepared by sterilizing and immobilizing the serum of an individual having the intervertebral disk to be regenerated, a medium for cell culture and at least one antibiotic; and a method of regenerating intervertebral disk which comprises suspending stem cells, which have been collected from the subject or another individual of the same or different species, in the above medium or embedding the stem cells in a cell carrier, either directly or after culturing in the medium for stem cells to be used in regenerating intervertebral disk, and then transplanting the stem cell suspension or the embedment thus obtained into the marrow cavity of the intervertebral disk.
Cette invention concerne un milieu pour cellules souches destinées à être utilisées pour régénérer un disque intervertébral contenant un auto-sérum préparé selon un procédé consistant à stériliser et à immobiliser le sérum d'un individu dont le disque intervertébral doit être régénéré, un milieu de culture de cellules et au moins un antibiotique. Cette invention concerne également un procédé de régénération d'un disque intervertébral, lequel procédé consiste à suspendre des cellules souches qui ont été prélevées sur le sujet ou sur un autre individu de la même espèce ou d'une espèce différente dans le milieu susmentionné ou à intégrer les cellules souches dans un support de cellules, soit directement, soit après la culture dans le milieu pour cellules souches destinées à être utilisées pour régénérer un disque intervertébral, puis à transplanter la suspension ou l'intégration de cellules souches ainsi obtenu dans la cavité de moelle du disque intervertébral.
