Abstract of the Disclosure Meltblown fibers and webs are formed by meltblowing a plasticized poly(vinyl chloride) composition which contains from about 20 to about 80 percent by weight of a nonvolatile plasticizer and from about 80 to about 20 percent by weight of a poly(vinyl chloride) having an inherent viscosity of from about 0.3 to about 1.6, such composition having a melt flow rate of from about 10 to about 105 grams per 10 minutes when measured in accordance with ASTM Method D 1238 at 190°C under a 2.16-kg load. - 48 -
