A method of assisting the removal of phosphorous from wastewater in a wastewater treatment system comprising a membrane bioreactor having at least one membrane (6), the method comprising forming a mixture of a gas and liquid medium; adding a coagulant to the mixture; applying the mixture and added coagulant to a surface of the membrane (6) and filtering a permeate through a wall of the membrane (6).
La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant d'aider à éliminer le phosphore d'eaux usées dans un système de traitement d'eaux usées comprenant un bioréacteur à membrane doté d'au moins une membrane (6). Le procédé selon l'invention consiste : à mélanger un gaz et un milieu liquide; à ajouter un coagulant au mélange; à appliquer le mélange et le coagulant ajouté sur une surface de la membrane (6); et à filtrer un perméat à travers une paroi de la membrane (6).
