MEMBRANE GAS SEPARATION PROCESSES ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Membrane gas separation processes for permeating gas species which can adversely affect the permeation characteristics of a membrane are disclosed. Permeabili- ty creep induced by permeating gas species such as acid gases is reduced by maintaining the partial pressure of permeated acid gases at a sufficiently low level. In particular, processes for permeating acid gases such as CO2 and H2S are disclosed.
