The instant invention is directed toward a process for enhancing the permselective properties, selectively sealing defects and pinholes, controllably altering the pore size and stabilizing the permselective properties of articles having apertures therein comprising the steps of: simultaneously contacting an article (H) having a first and second surface (K, L), said first and second surfaces being capable of passing ozone and metal compounds therethrough and said first and second surfaces being oriented such that said metal compounds and ozone can react across said first and second surfaces, with ozone on said first surface and a metal compound on said second surface and wherein said contacting is conducted for a time and at a temperature and pressure sufficient to allow said ozone and said metal compound to form a metal oxide.
Procédé permettant d'améliorer les propriétés permsélectives, d'obturer sélectivement des défauts et des trous d'épingle, de modifier de manière régulée la taille des pores et de stabiliser les propriétés permsélectives d'articles comportant des ouvertures. Ledit procédé consiste à mettre en contact simultanément un article (H) doté de première et seconde surfaces (K, L), lesdites première et seconde surfaces étant capables de laisser passer de l'ozone et des composés métalliques et lesdites première et seconde surfaces étant orientées de telle manière que les composés métalliques et l'ozone puissent réagir à travers lesdites première et seconde surfaces, l'ozone se trouvant sur la première surface et un composé métallique sur la seconde surface, ladite mise en contact étant effectuée pendant une durée et à une température et une pression suffisantes pour permettre à l'ozone et au composé métallique de former un oxyde métallique.
