ABSTRACT MEMBRANES A process for the preparation of a hollow fibre membrane comprising an at least partially crystalline aromatic ether ketone polymer which process comprises the steps of A. preparing a hollow fibre membrane from a solution of an at least partially crystalline aromatic ether ketone polymer in a strong acid by contacting the solution with a non-solvent for the polymer; and B. drawing the fibre prepared in Step A to increase the length thereof by 5-50%.
