ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A system is provided for indicating the relative location of addres- ses in an electronic memory. The system includes the combination of an elec- tronic for storing data in different address locations and having a prede- termined plurality of address locations therein; means coupled with the memory sequentially for addressing and selecting specific ones of the address locations of the electronic memory; and analog display means coupled with at least one of the memory and the addressing means for providing an indica- tion of the relative location in the memory of the address selected by the addressing means. This system provides an indication of the fullness of the memory, and provides an indication of the position of a given address location relative to the full memory capacity. The indication of memory fullness is readily understood even by users who are not technically sophisticated.
