The invention concerns novel mesoporous inorganic solids in the form of primary and/or secondary inorganic particles of D10 >= 1 µm and D50 >= 3 µm, preferably D10 >= 2 µm and D50 >= 10 µm, whereof the size can reach up to 10 mm, whereof the microporous volume (pores with size not more than 2 µm) represents not more than 10 % of the total porous volume up to 300 nm. Said solids can advantageously be used as supports of catalytic constituent in polymerisation reactions, as reaction catalysts in the field of refinery and petrochemistry, as adsorbents for separating constituents of a gas or liquid mixture consisting of at least two different compounds and as packing supports of chromatography columns.
La présente invention a trait à de nouveaux solides inorganiques mésoporeux se présentant sous forme de particules inorganiques primaires et/ou secondaires de D10 >= 1 µm et D 50 >= 3 µm, de préférence de D10 >= 2 µm et D50 >= 10 µm dont la taille peut aller jusqu'à 10 mm, dont le volume microporeux (pores de taille inférieure ou égale à 2 µm) représente au plus 10 % du volume poreux total jusqu'à 300 nm. Ces solides peuvent avantageusement être utilisés comme supports de composante catalytique dans des réactions de polymérisation, comme catalyseurs de réactions dans le domaine du raffinage et de la pétrochimie, comme adsorbants pour séparer les composants d'un mélange gazeux ou liquide constitué d'au moins e composés différents et comme supports de garnissage de colonnes de chromatographie.
