ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The calendar corresponding to the year and the month designated by the user is displayed on a TV screen, and a day is designated on the calendar. The date data is stored in a register. A list of characters for creating a message is displayed on the TV screen so as to designate the charac- ters to be displayed. The thus-obtained message data are stored in a register. When the count data of a clock counter is coincident with the date data, the message data are decoded and displayed on the TV screen.
