A method of transmitting a message from a first entity (118) to a terminal (106) of a user ( 104) over a communication system (110) operated by a second entity. The method comprises: the second entity authorising the first entity to access a message transmission means connected to the communication system; the first entity transmitting the message (S206) to the message transmission means (126); the message transmission means generating a notification message from the message and storing the message in a storage means (124); transmitting the notification message to a client (S212) executed on the terminal over the communication system,- responsive to receiving the notification message, the client communicating with the storage means to ascertain the identity of the first entity that transmitted the message, and determining whether the user has selected to receive messages from the first entity (S218); and in the case that the user has selected to receive messages from the first entity, the client retrieving the message from the storage means over the communication system (S228) and displaying the message to the user on a display means of the terminal (S234).
La présente invention concerne un procédé de transmission du message depuis une première entité vers un terminal d'un utilisateur via un système de communication opéré par une seconde entité. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : la seconde entité autorise l'accès de la première entité à un moyen de transmission de message connecté au système de communication; le première entité transmet le message vers le moyen de transmission de communication; la moyen de transmission génère un message de notification à partir du message et mémorise le message dans un moyen de stockage; la transmission du message de notification à un client exécutée sur le terminal via le système de communication; suite à la réception du message de notification, le client communique avec le moyen de communication pour vérifier l'identité de la première entité qui a transmis le message, et détermine si l'utilisateur a choisi de recevoir des messages provenant de la première entité; et dans le cas où l'utilisateur a choisi de recevoir des messages provenant de la première entité, le client récupère le message depuis le moyen de stockage via le système de communication et affiche le message pour l'utilisateur sur un moyen d'affichage du terminal.
