Dans le moule on effectue des coulées successives de métaux différents tout en maintenant, pendant chacune de ces coulées et pendant sa solidification, un apport de gaz liquéfié, jusqu'à obtenir une pièce finale formée de plusieurs couches de métaux différents. L'invention s'applique en particulier à la fabrication de tubes centrifugés et de cylindres de laminoirs.
