A polynuclear metal complex having in each molecule not only at least one large cyclic ligand having 5 to 15 coordinating atoms but also multiple metal atoms is subjected to any of heating treatment, radiation exposure treatment and electric discharge treatment, thereby providing a polynuclear metal complex exhibiting a ratio of weight loss by the treatment of 5 to 90 wt.% and a carbon content after the treatment of 5 wt.% or more.

L'invention concerne un complexe métallique polynucléaire comprenant dans chaque molécule non seulement au moins un ligand cyclique de grande taille ayant de 5 à 15 atomes coordonnants, mais également de multiples atomes métalliques, ledit complexe étant soumis à un traitement quelconque parmi un traitement thermique, un traitement d'exposition à un rayonnement et un traitement de décharge électrique, permettant ainsi d'obtenir un complexe métallique polynucléaire présentant un taux de perte de poids par le traitement de 5 à 90 % en poids et une teneur en carbone après le traitement supérieure ou égale à 5 % en poids.
