Abstract of the Disclosure 1:2 Metal complex dyes of axomethines of the formula Image , wherein R is hydrogen, unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, aralkyl, aryl, alkylsulfonyl or arylsulfonyl, A is the radical of an aliphatic 1,2- or 1,3-diamine or of a carbocyclic or heterocyclic 1,2-diamine, B is the radical of an aromatic o-hydroxyaldehyde, Ar1 is an aromatic radical, m is 1 or 2, and Ar2 is an aromatic-carbocyclic or heterocyclic radical. These dyes are suitable for dyeing and printing polyamide materials.
