ABSTRACT Metal fittings for a piece of furniture with sever al drawers arranged above one another. With the metal fittings only one drawer at a time can be pulled out of the furniture shell. In addition, each drawer should be automatically pulled into the closed position and also remain in this position. The metal fittings according to the invention comprise a rotary slider which can be rotated by a trip cam following the movement of the drawer and which is carried along over a relatively short distance. The rotary slider remains in this position until it is released by the trip cam when the drawer is pushed in and the rotary slider returning to the starting position takes along the drawer. The metal fittings according to the invention are particularly suitable for office furniture.
