Abstract of the Disclosure A method of forming metal flake from metal particles comprises charging metal particles, liquid and milling material from a mill and operating the mill to form the metal flake. A portion of the metal flake, liquid and milling material is removed to the mill at a rate substantially commensurate with the charging thereto and milling material is separated from the liquid and metal flake.
