An ice hockey stick comprises a blade and an elongate, narrow handle connected to a top end of the blade. The handle and blade are formed from a strong, lightweight metal such as aluminum alloy. The blade has a number of relatively small holes extending through it for purposes of weight reduction. These holes are distributed over the surface of the blade. Preferably the handle is detachably connected to the blade. A preferred embodiment is for a goalkeeper and, in this version, the blade has an ice engaging portion and an upstanding portion which extends at an obtuse angle to the ice engaging portion. The holes are distributed over both portions of the blade.
Un bâton de hockey comprend une lame et un manche étroit et allongé raccordé au bout supérieur de la lame. Le manche et la lame sont faits d'un métal léger et résistant, tel un alliage d'aluminium. La lame comporte des trous relativement petits qui la percent dans le but de réduire le poids. Ces trous sont distribués sur toute la surface de la lame. De préférence, le manche est raccordé à la lame de façon détachable.
