The invention concerns a coated metal surface comprising successively: an epoxy primer coating (1) arranged against the metal, a binder coating (2) comprising 98 to 50 parts by weight of at least a fluorinated polymer L3 for respectively 2 to 5 parts of at least a polymer selected among acrylic polymers L1 and polymers L2 which are fluorinated polymers chemically modified by partial dehydrofluorination followed by oxidation, a fluorinated polymer coating (3). In a first embodiment the coating does not include coating (3). However, it is recommended that layer (2) which becomes the outer coating should be thicker than in the inventive structure. In a second embodiment, the coating does not include the primer coating (1), the binder coating should necessarily contain polymer L2 and the surface should necessarily be the outer surface of tubes. In a third embodiment, the coating does not include coating (2) and coating (1) comprises a mixture of epoxy primer and of polymer L2. The invention concerns more particularly the coating of the outer surfaces of tubes. Said tubes are useful for operating in offshore hot oil wells, since the tubes transporting the hot oil should be able to resist seawater corrosion.
