The invention relates to a metallic flat gasket comprising at least one through opening consisting of at least two metallic, spring steel layers (1, 4). The layer (1) is provided with at least one stopper (11) surrounding the through hole, in addition to a bead (12) associated with the stopper (11), and the layer (4) is provided with a bead (12). At least one bend (13) is formed adjacently to the bead (12) in the at least one layer (4), outside the stopper region or between the stopper region and the bead (12).
