A nanowire comprising only metal having an average length of I µ m or more which could not be produced in the prior art, and a method of manufacturing this wire. This invention provides a method of manufacturing a metal nanowire, which comprises the step of reducing a nanofiber comprising a metal complex peptide lipid formed from the two-headed peptide lipid represented by the general formula (I): (See Formula I) , in which Val is a valine residue, m is 1-3 and n is 6-18, and a metal ion, using 5-10 equivalents of a reducing agent relative to the two-headed peptide lipid. It further provides a metal nanowire having an average diameter of 10-20nm and average length of 1 µ m or more. It is preferred that the metal is copper.
L'invention concerne un nanofil à un seul métal, de longueur moyenne égale ou supérieure à 1 µm, que l'état actuel de la technique ne permettait pas encore de réaliser, et un procédé realtif à l'élaboration de ce nanofil. Ledit procédé consiste à réduire des nanofibres en composite métal/lipide peptidique constitué des ions métal et d'un lipide peptidique à forme bola, selon la formule générale (I). Dans ladite formule, Val est un résidu de valine; m vaut de 1 à 3; et n vaut de 6 à 18. On utilise un agent réducteur dans une proportion de 5 à 10 fois équivalente au lipide peptidique considéré. Ce type de nanofil a un diamètre moyen compris entre 10 et 20 nm et une longueur moyenne égale ou supérieure à 1µm. On utilise de préférence du cuivre comme métal.
