14 Abstract of the Disclosure A device (10) for producing metallic particles (P) utilizes the Coanda Effect to draw one stream of gas (EFG) toward another stream of gas (GF) flowing over a foil (CD). Molten metal (MF) is introduced between the two gas streams, and the resulting interaction breaks up the molten metal flow into particles (P) of appropriate size, shape, composition and the like.
