The invention relates to a metallised, biaxially orientated opaque polypropylene multi-layered film comprising a base layer and a first metallised cover layer and a second sealable cover layer on the opposite side. The first cover layer contains at least 80 wt. % of a propylene ethylene copolymer having an ethylene content of 1.2 - < 2.8 wt. % and a propylene content of 97.2 98.8 wt. % and a melting point ranging from 145 - 160 ~C and a melting enthalpy of 80 - 110 J/g. The first cover layer has a thickness of at least 4 ~m and the base layer is vacuolar. Said thick cover layer can also be made of a combination of an intermediate layer and a thin cover layer.

L'invention concerne une feuille de polypropylène multicouche opaque à orientation biaxiale et métallisée, comportant une couche de base, une première couche de recouvrement métallisée et une seconde couche de recouvrement scellable sur le côté opposé. La première couche de recouvrement contient au moins 80 % en poids d'un copolymère d'éthylène et de propylène, lequel copolymère comporte 1,2 à moins de 2,8 % en poids d'éthylène et 97,2 à 98,8 % en poids de propylène et présente un point de fusion compris entre 145 et 160 ·C ainsi qu'une enthalpie de fusion de 80 à 110 J/g. La première couche de recouvrement présente une épaisseur d'au moins 4 ?m et la couche de base est vacuolaire. Cette couche de recouvrement épaisse peut être également constituée d'une combinaison d'une couche intermédiaire et d'une couche de recouvrement mince.
