A laminated metallized film composite (6) is disclosed which comprises vapor deposited aluminum (1) on a polyester film (2). A layer of thermoplastic polymeric adhevise (5), such as a polyester adhesive, is used to bond a second layer of film (4) which is formed out of polyethylene to the aluminum coated polyester film (3). Other embodiments include foam sheeting placed between the first and second film layers. The disclosed films are formed into bags and other packaging for such goods as frozen and/or refrigerated products.
