A metallized polymeric film reflective insulation bubble pack assembly comprising (A) a first bubble layer (12) having an inner face (14) and an outer face (16), a first metallized film (18) having an inner face (20) laminated to the outer face (16) of the first bubble layer (12), and an outer face (22), (B)a second bubble layer (24) having an inner face (26) and an outer face (28),a second metallized film (30) having an inner face (32) laminated to the outer face (28) of the second bubble layer (24), and an outer face (34), (C) an intervening inner metal foil or metallized film (38) having a first face (36) and a second face (40) disposed between the first bubble layer (12) and the second bubble layer (24), (D) a pair of bubble spacers (42,44) suitably located between the inner face (14) of the first bubble layer (12) and the first face (36) of the intervening inner metallized film (38) as to define an inner insulative air chamber (46) between the first bubble layer (12), the intervening inner metallized film (36) and the spacers (42, 44). The invention provides a non- fiberglass improved R-value insulation material that is cost-effective in material, labour, production and installation costs relative to prior art materials.
