The invention relates to a metallurgical vessel (1) for transporting melt- liquid metals. Said vessel comprises a metal jacket that receives a heat-resistant lining, said jacket comprising two stiffening rings (7,8). Said stiffening rings extend in the peripheral direction, fastened at an axial distance to each other, and are integrated into the metal jacket. Two lifting lugs (11, 11') are disposed on the exterior of the vessel on opposite sides thereof and are supported by respective shield segments (9, 9') that are linked with the stiffening rings. The transitional zone from the stiffening rings to the shield segments is rounded off. Optionally, a lid support (14) which has a truncated cross-section is fixed on the vessel rim. The shield segment is designed as a one-piece element and is provided in at least its upper part with arms (19, 19', 20, 20') that extend in both peripheral directions and whose cross-sections, in the end zones, are adapted to the respective contiguous stiffening ring and are provided with a bevel edge.

L'invention concerne un récipient métallurgique (1) servant au transport de métaux en fusion, comportant un revêtement métallique qui reçoit une garniture intérieure réfractaire et qui présente deux anneaux de renforcement (7, 8) s'étendant dans le sens périphérique, intégrés et fixés dans le revêtement métallique, à distance l'un de l'autre dans le sens axial. Deux tourillons porteurs (11, 11') sont placés l'un en face de l'autre sur lesdits anneaux, sur le côté extérieur. Ces anneaux sont soutenus au moyen d'un segment de plaque respectif (9, 9'), auquel ils sont raccordés. La jonction entre les anneaux de renforcement et le segment de plaque est arrondie. Un couvercle (14) de section tronconique est éventuellement fixé sur le bord du récipient. Le segment de plaque se présente sous la forme d'une seule pièce et au moins sa partie supérieure comporte des bras (19, 19', 20, 20') qui s'étendent dans les deux sens périphériques et présentent une arête de soudure. La section transversale de ces bras est adaptée, dans la zone d'extrémité, aux anneaux de renforcement qui leur sont respectivement adjacents.
