An oil composition for use in metal working with minimal quantity lubrication which comprises: a base oil selected from the group consisting of natural fats, derivatives thereof, and synthetic ester oils; a sorbitan fatty acid ester; and a phospholipid. Also provided are: a method of metal working which comprises using the oil composition; and a product of metal working with the oil composition. The oil composition is excellent in lubricity and rust prevention and is suitable for processing a metallic material such as a cast iron, steel, stainless steel, or non-ferrous metal (aluminum alloy or magnesium alloy) by metal working with minimal quantity lubrication.

L'invention concerne un mélange d'huile destiné à être utilisé dans l'usinage de métaux en permettant de minimiser la lubrification, et qui comprend: une huile de base choisie dans l'ensemble constitué des graisses naturelles, de leurs dérivés et des huiles d'ester synthétique, un ester d'acide gras de sorbitan et un phospholipide. L'invention propose aussi un procédé d'usinage de métaux qui comprend l'utilisation du mélange d'huile et un produit fabriqué par usinage de métaux avec le mélange d'huile. Le mélange d'huile a un excellent pouvoir lubrifiant et un excellent pouvoir antirouille et convient pour traiter un matériau métallique tel que la fonte, l'acier, l'acier inoxydable ou les métaux non ferreux (alliages d'aluminium ou alliages de magnésium) par usinage des métaux en recourant à un minimum de lubrification.
