ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The disclosure describes a clamping ring for an electric meter housing or the like, the ring has adjacent end portions adapted to be secured together to clamp the meter onto a support, the ring is generally circular and comprises a peripheral wall having radially inwardly extending flanges on the front and rear edges thereof, at least one of the flanges has a series of gaps formed therein which extend substantially to the peripheral wall forming separate flange segments.
