A meter testing circuit for monitoring watt/hour meters. The circuit has a transducer head attachable to the meter and includes an emitter (L1) and two receivers (Q1, Q2) and an indicator which signifies proper positioning of the head relative to the meter. The circuit detects the presence of an index mark on a disk of a mechanical meter or an indicator light on an electronic meter and provides intensity control for the emitter and an output indicative of detection of the mark or light.

Circuit de contrôle pour compteurs permettant de tester des compteurs de watts/d'heures. Le circuit comporte une tête transducteur pouvant être fixée sur le compteur, ainsi qu'un émetteur (L1), deux récepteurs (Q1, Q2) et un indicateur indiquant le positionnement correct de la tête par rapport au compteur. Le circuit détecte la présence d'un repère sur un disque d'un compteur électrique ou une lumière indicatrice sur un compteur électronique. Il fournit la commande d'intensité à l'émetteur et émet une sortie indiquant la détection du repère ou de la lumière.
