METERING APPARATUS HAVING RATE COMPENSATION CIRCUIT Abstract of the Disclosure A system for infusing fluids into the human body includes a peristaltic-type metering apparatus (10) which controls the flow of fluid through a dis- posable administration set (16) at a preset rate. A compensating circuit (160) within the metering appar- atus (10) automatically varies the operating rate of the metering apparatus to compensate for dimensional variations in the apparatus and the tubing of the administration set.
