There is provided a metering valve for an aerosol container comprising a valve body (10) defining a metering chamber (12); the metering chamber having an inlet (20) and an outlet (30), the inlet permitting flow of aerosol from said container to the metering chamber and the outlet permitting dispensing of aerosol from the metering chamber; the inlet having an inlet valve reversibly actuable from an open to a closed position; and the outlet having an outlet valve reversibly actuable from a dispensing to a non-dispensing position, wherein the outlet valve comprises an outlet valve seat (32) and an outlet valve poppet (34) in biasable contact therewith.

La présente invention concerne une vanne doseuse destinée à un contenant d'aérosol, comprenant un corps de vanne définissant une chambre de dosage, la chambre de dosage étant dotée d'une entrée et d'une sortie, l'entrée permettant la l'écoulement d'aérosol à partir dudit contenant dans la chambre de dosage, et la sortie permettant la distribution d'aérosol à partir de la chambre de dosage. L'entrée comporte une valve d'entrée réversible d'une position ouverte à une position fermée, et la sortie comporte une valve de sortie réversible d'une position de distribution à une position de non distribution. La valve de sortie comprend un siège et un clapet en contact de sollicitation.
