ABSTRACT In the conventional carburetion process in the internal combustion engine a mixture of air and fine gasoline droplets are produced for combustion. In this invention the gasoline is catalytically converted to small molecular light hydro carbons, methanes and methanol which are then mixed with air for combustion. The new carburation process improves internal combustion engine efficiency and greatly reduces atmospheric pollution.
