ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides an electronic detector arranged in such a way that the electrical conductivity between e.g. a surgeon and a patient can be measured. The detector is pre- ferably placed in the shoes of the surgeon and is through contact members connected to the surgeon's body and to the base on which the surgeon stands, preferably a floor having a certain electrical conductivity, or a disc for this purpose. AS an electrically conductive operating table is also electrically connected to the same base the patient will be galvanically connected with said base. The detector can detect the conduc- tivity between the surgeon and the patient and makes it possible to control possible biological leakage, e.g. germ-containing liquid, through perforations in the operating gloves of the surgeon, at which infections in incisions can be avoided to a great extent.
