The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for detecting muscular status. The apparatus includes electrode means (7) for acquiring analog myoelectric signals, an amplifier (1) which is followed by an A/D converter to which is connected a signal processing unit (3). A signal means (4) is connected to the signal processing unit. The analog signals acquired by the electrode means (7) are converted, after amplification, into binary signals which are frequency-analysed in the signal processing unit (3). This calculates the appearance and/or position of a frequency spectrum in relation to a predetermined initial position on commencement of the detection. Signals relating to the shift of the frequency spectrum in relation to its initial position are emitted from the signal means (4) or stored in a storage device.

Procédé et appareil de détection de l'état musculaire. L'appareil comprend un moyen d'électrode (7) permettant d'acquérir des signaux myoélectriques analogiques, un amplificateur (1) lequel est suivi par un convertisseur A/N auquel est connectée une unité (3) de traitement de signaux. Un moyen de signaux (4) est connecté à ladite unité de traitement de signaux. Les signaux analogiques acquis par ledit moyen d'électrode (7) sont convertis, après amplification, en signaux binaires lesquels sont analysés en fréquence dans ladite unité (3) de traitement de signaux. Cette dernière calcule l'apparence et/ou la position d'un spectre de fréquence par rapport à une position prédéterminée initiale au début de la détection. Les signaux relatifs au décalage du spectre de fréquence par rapport à sa position initiale, sont émis par ledit moyen de signaux (4) ou stockés dans un dispositif de stockage.
