An anastomotic instrument (201) and a method for establishing an end-to-side anastomosis. The instrument comprising an anvil assembly (202A, 203, 203A), having stapling recesses (204), a clamping assembly (205B, 205A) adapted to be advanced towards said rear face of said anvil (203), and a stapling assembly (206, 206A), to be moved towards said anvil (203). The main novel features are that all three assemblies can be split along a common dividing surface, and that during the operation, the separable parts of the assemblies are held together by a common elastic rubber sheath (410), to ensure a correct sequence of relative movement when the three assemblies are pressed together by a manual implement having jaws (202C, 206C). After the anastomosis has been established, the rubber sheath (410) may be cut open to enable the separable parts to be separated from each other.
Cette invention concerne un instrument pour anastomose (201) et un procédé permettant d'effectuer une anastomose termino-latérale. Ledit instrument comporte un ensemble faisant office d'enclume (202A, 203, 203A) et comportant des évidements destinés à l'agrafage (204), un ensemble de blocage (205B, 205A) conçu pour avancer en direction de la face arrière de ladite enclume (203) et un ensemble d'agrafage (206, 206A) que l'on déplace en direction de ladite enclume (203). Ledit instrument se caractérise en ce que ces trois ensembles peuvent être fendus le long d'une surface commune de division et en ce que, en cours de fonctionnement, les pièces séparables de ces ensembles sont maintenues entre elles par une gaine commune élastique en caoutchouc (410) de façon à assurer un séquencement correct des déplacements relatifs lorsque l'on comprime conjointement ces trois ensembles au moyen d'un outil à main muni de mâchoires (202C, 206C). Une fois l'anastomose effectuée, on peut ouvrir la gaine en caoutchouc (410) en la coupant de manière à séparer l'une de l'autre les pièces séparables.
