The invention relates to a method for examining by potential measuring the electrochemical effects of the implanted metal substitutions (in vivo) causing allergic symptoms and/or inflammation in the living organism. In the sense of the invention potential difference is measured between the implanted metal and a reference electrode palpating the neighbouring soma tissue. The invention relates furthermore to an apparatus for examining the electrochemical effects of the implanted metal substitutions (in vivo) causing allergic symptoms and/or inflammation at the living organism, wherein the apparatus contains two probes and a signal processing circuit connected thereto. In the sense of the invention one of the probes is a reference electrode (1) provided with reference electrolyte (34), which is connected to the soma tissue near the implant implanted or inserted provisionally, while the other probe is a measuring electrode (2) provided with a metal contact tip (6) which is joined to the implant implanted or inserted provisionally, the reference electrode (1) and the measuring electrode (2), in a given case, through an amplifier (20, 27) to one of the inputs of the comparing unit (22, 28) are connected, while to the other input of the comparing unit (22, 28) is connected the output of a memory (24, 30) containing at least one of the data concerning the metal to be examined, and to one of the outputs of the comparing unit (22, 28) is connected the display for the measured data (11).
L'invention porte sur une méthode d'examen à l'aide de mesures de potentiel des effets électrochimiques de prothèses métalliques implantées (in vivo) occasionnant des réactions allergiques et/ou inflammatoires dans l'organisme. La différence de potentiel se mesure entre le métal implanté et une électrode de référence palpant les tissus corporels voisins. L'invention porte également sur un appareil d'examen des effets électrochimiques de prothèses métalliques occasionnant des réactions allergiques et/ou inflammatoires dans l'organisme comportant deux sondes et un circuit de traitement des signaux leur étant raccordé, dont une sonde de référence (1) comporant un électrolyte de référence (34) reliée aux tissus corporels voisins de la prothèse implantée provisoirement ou définitivement, et une sonde de mesure (2), munie d'une pointe de contact métallique (6) et reliée à la prothèse implantée provisoirement ou définitivement. Dans une variante, l'électrode de référence (1) et l'électrode de mesure (2) sont reliées par l'intermédiaire d'un amplificateur (20, 27) à l'une des entrées de l'unité de comparaison (22, 28), l'autre entrée de ladite unité (22, 28) l'étant à la sortie d'une mémoire (24, 30) stockant au moins l'une des données concernant le métal à examiner, tandis que l'une des sorties de l'unité de comparaison (22, 28) l'est à un écran affichant les données mesurées (11).
