A scissors lumbar support includes a hinge axle (8) and two arms (10, 12) each having a forward portion (14, 16) and a rearward portion (28, 30). The forward portions are lumbar support pads. At least one of the rearward portions of the arms are adapted to operatively engage a force applicator. Each of the arms hinge around the hinge axle upon application of force by a force applicator (144). At least one of the rearward portions of the arms are mountable on a seat frame.

Cette invention se rapporte à un support lombaire en ciseau qui comprend un axe d'articulation (8) et deux bras (10, 12) ayant chacun une partie avant (14, 16) et une partie arrière (28, 30). Les parties avant constituent des coussins de support lombaire. Au moins l'une des parties arrière des bras est conçue pour venir en prise en position opérationnelle avec un applicateur de force. Chacun des bras s'articule autour de l'axe d'articulation lors de l'application d'une force par un applicateur de force (144). Au moins l'une des parties arrière des bras peut être montée sur un cadre de siège.
