The disclosure describes a method and apparatus for effectively communicating data along an acoustic transmission path. The method comprises driving an acoustic transmitter to send a data signal along the acoustic transmission path, where the signal is distorted by ambient noise. The distorted signal is input to a spaced apart plurality of sensors so that consequent time-delayed signals provide reinforcement of the basic signal and attenuation of the ambient noise component when combined.
L'invention décrite dans la présente divulgation porte sur un procédé et appareil permettant de transmettre efficacement des données tout au long d'une voie de communication acoustique. La méthode utilisée comprend la fourniture d'instructions de transmission de données à un émetteur acoustique qui envoie un signal de données le long d'une voie de communication acoustique où ce dernier subit une distorsion due au bruit ambiant. Le signal distordu est reçu et traité par une pluralité de capteurs espacés le long de la voie, de façon à ce que les signaux temporisés conséquents puissent servir à renforcer le signal original tout en atténuant la composante de bruit lors de leur combinaison.
