A method for the prediction of adverse cross-reactions between lead candidate biomolecules and potential reactant molecules, often biopolymers, is described. In a computational system, reactions are modeled within a suitable environment, in order to determine a reaction profile between a lead candidate molecule and a potential reactant molecule. A risk assessment is then generated for each lead based on a plurality of reaction profiles for the lead with respect to a plurality of potential reactant molecules. The method includes provision for the redesign and optimization of the lead candidate, possibly iterative in nature, in order to avoid predicted adverse cross- reactions.
La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de prévoir une réaction croisée indésirable entre des biomolécules candidates principales et des molécules d'un réactif puissant, souvent des biopolymères. Dans un système computationnel, les réactions sont modélisées dans un environnement adapté, de manière à déterminer un profil de réaction entre une molécule candidate principale et une molécule de réactif puissant. Une évaluation des risques est ensuite générée pour chaque molécule principale en fonction de plusieurs profils de réaction de la molécule principale par rapport à plusieurs molécules de réactif puissant. Le procédé décrit dans cette invention permet de restructurer et d'optimiser la molécule candidate principale, de préférence, itérative par nature, de manière à éviter des réactions croisées indésirables prévues.
