Method and Apparatus for Applying Chemicals to Weeds and Plants Abstract The apparatus includes an elongated hollow body with exposed portions of wick extending along the body and having inner portions extending into the body through openings of the body. Each end of an exposed portion is peripherally sealed with respect to the body opening through which it extends, and inner portions of the wick communicate with a chemical in the body. Exposed portions of the wick span the length of the body and the chemical is applied by moving the body horizon- tally across a field in a direction transverse to its length. The wick material can be braided nylon rope, and the body can be made of any selected length for multi-row application of the chemical.
