A tracking system monitors an entity that enters a controlled space and the addition, removal, or other movement or status changes of objects in the controlled space. A computer system, coupled to the tracking system, automatically associates the addition, removal or other movement or status changes of the objects with the identity of the entity and transmits this information to a server computer system. A user may subsequently access this information through one or more client computers coupled to the server computer system. The server computer system may also automatically notify a user or other computer systems, e.g., through a network interface, wireless interface, or telephone interface, when objects in the controlled space have been moved or the status ahs been changed and/or whether such movement or status change is authorized or not.
Un système de pistage surveille une entité qui entre dans un espace contrôlé ainsi que l'ajout, le retrait ou tout autre mouvement ou changement de statut des objets dans l'espace contrôlé. Un système informatique, couplé au système de pistage, associe automatiquement l'ajout, le retrait ou tout autre mouvement ou changement du statut des objets à l'identité de l'entité et transmet ces informations à un système informatique serveur. Par la suite, un utilisateur peut accéder à ces informations à travers un ou plusieurs ordinateurs clients couplés au système informatique serveur. Le système informatique serveur peut aussi envoyer des notifications à un utilisateur ou à d'autres systèmes informatiques, p.ex., à travers une interface de réseau, une interface sans fil ou une interface téléphonique, pour les informer de tout mouvement ou de tout changement de statut d'objets dans l'espace contrôlé et/ou lui communiquer si ce mouvement ou changement de statut est autorisé ou non.
