A method and communication node for providing secure communications and services in a High Availability (HA) cluster. The communication node comprises an Operating System (OS) that detects an unavailability of a first service application process and switches a second service application process from the first state to the second state, the second service application being selected for taking over service currently provided from the first service application process, the first state and the second state each being associated to a set of rights in the cluster. The OS generates a private key for the second service application process based on its second state. The set of rights associated to the second state allows the OS to replace the first service application process with the second service application process for providing secure communications between the second service application and other service application processes in the HA cluster.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un nud de communication permettant de fournir des services et des communications sécurisés dans une grappe à haute disponibilité (HA). Le nud de communication comprend un système d'exploitation (OS) qui détecte une indisponibilité d'un premier processus d'application de service et commute un second processus d'application de service, d'un premier état à un second état, la seconde application de service étant sélectionnée en vue de prendre en charge le service en cours à partir du premier processus d'application de service, le premier état et le second état étant associés chacun à un ensemble de droits dans la grappe. Le système d'exploitation produit une clé privée pour le second processus d'application de service sur la base de son second état. L'ensemble des droits associés au second état permet au système d'exploitation de remplacer le premier processus d'application de service par le second processus d'application de service afin de fournir des communications sécurisées entre la seconde application de service et d'autres processus d'application de service dans la grappe HA.
