ABSTRACT The invention relates to a method and apparatus for fold- ing corrugated sheet transversely of the corrugations. In accordance with the method, the valleys of the sheet cor- rugations are held clamped against a die in an edging press or like device by means of a particularly configured pressfoot , whereafter a fold line or weakening is pressed in the form of an indent in the corrugation crests by means of a bar . The fold line or weakening enables the sheet to be subsequently bent readily to a desired angle over the edge of a bench or over some like support surface.
