In the method of adjustment a bicycle seat assembly the driver is rotatable in the first and second directions. Upon rotating the driver in the first direction, tightening of the connection between the bicycle seat, the seat post and the adjusting member causes simultaneous adjustment of the wedge sub-assembly provided at the interface between the distal end of the adjusting member and the seat post. Rotation of the fastening driver in the second direction causes loosening connection between the seat post and the elongated adjusting member and causes simultaneous loosening of the wedge sub-assembly.
