ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for cleaning gripper assemblies on printing apparatus including a containment structure and means for spraying cleaning fluid at the grippers within the containment structure. The structure is configured to facilitate placement thereof over the grippers in sealing cooperation with surfaces on the apparatus adjacent the gripper assembly. A drain is preferably provided to enable continuous removal of fluid from the containment structure during cleaning.
